The Harvard-Kent Elementary School in Charlestown has a higher percent of students from historically underserved populations – such as English Language Learners, high needs students, and economically disadvantaged students – than almost any other school in Boston. These students excel at the Harvard-Kent and post academic growth scores that outpace state and district averages. The Harvard-Kent was recently recognized for this performance with a move to Level 1 status, the state’s highest-academic rating.
