The JP Manning School, a BPS elementary school in Jamaica Plain, is remarkable in many ways. The Manning has developed a highly effective model for how to serve students with emotional impairments and has established itself as an extremely in-demand school with Boston’s students and families. Using a thoughtful inclusion approach, the school provides deep socio-emotional supports and academic rigor that generate outstanding results for all students. Over the next year, BSF will work with the Manning to develop a growth plan to serve up to 250 more students.
