The Eliot K-8 Innovation School in Boston’s North End is the oldest continuously-operating public school in the city, and one of the highest-performing, as well. As the Eliot has grown – from 150 students in 2007 to over 550 students today – the school has remained in extremely high demand due to its rigorous academics and outstanding staff. Over 400 students are on the school’s waitlist today, and the number of applications to the Eliot has quadrupled since 2008. BSF will work with the Eliot to plan the school’s next stage of growth, which could include up to 500 new seats, in order to serve families who aren’t able to access a seat at the Eliot today.
